Statement

The "Losses" series talks about empty spaces, about nature in the purest state, where life and death merge, about the void and reminiscence left when a loved one is not sharing your life any longer and lastly about the derelict object, once useful, that now belongs to the past and only remains in our memory.

I have taken photographs of abandoned or lifeless spaces, combining different techniques such as painting, etching and ceramics, using paper as support; to create this series where apparent lifelessness and "nothingness" could be the beginning of "something".

"Losses" talks about loss but also love.
